YOUR MOM!
For the month of January we will be talking about a controversial topic: YOUR MOM! That's right, Our Holy Mother. She is a dividing factor among Christians and we thought we'd take the time to figure out just why she is so special. We will talk about church doctrines like the Immaculate Conception and the Assumption as well as Marian apparitions. Did you know that over 70,000 people (believers and non) witnessed the sun dance in Fatima, Portugal last century? True story!
As an intro to our month of Mary, this Thursday we will be watching a movie called "The 13th Day" about the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima. It is a thought and spirit provoking movie. We will meet in the youth room from 7- 8:30 pm. We will stand out front for a bit so if this is your first time joining us you'll know where to go!
