Altar Servers have the special priviledge of assisting the celebrant at Masses, funerals, weddings, and other special occasions.  All Parish children grade 5th and above are eligible to apply.  Four servers are scheduled at each Mass throughout the year.  Altar Serving provides an opportunity to be more directly involved in the Liturgy.

This group creates new banners for the various seasons as well as decorating with flowers, etc.  They are also responsible for organizing the cleaning of the church before Christmas and Easter.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound are the most sacred way of participating in Mass.  EMS functions as servants to the body of Christ, God's people.  The primary focus of their ministry is to serve our parish with fidelity, reverence, and love.

The lector has the important and priviledged responsibility of proclaiming God's Word at Mass.  Any confirmed parishioenr with good reading skills is encouraged to become a Lector.

The primary work of this ministry is to serve the presider (priest) and the assembly (those who gather to celebrate) especially at Sunday Mass.  This minister serves "behind the scenes" on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings before each Mass to assure that all the items needed for the day's liturgy are in place, that the appropriate ministers are present to know their roles and are ready to serve.  This minister makes sure that everything required for the celebration of special rites or rituals during the Mas is placed before the Mass begins.  This minister is available to the presider to attend any special details or last minute preparations.
