High School Youth Group!

Join our High School Youth Group! Sundays 5:30pm-7:30pm

Do you enjoy eating dinner and hanging out with friends? Do you enjoy playing games with some friendly competition? Do you find yourself searching for a moment of peace amid the chaos of being a student? Are you in high school (9th-12th grade)? If at least one of your answers is ‘yes,’ then you belong in High School Youth Group this year!

We meet throughout the school year, beginning in mid-September through early to mid-May.

What is Youth Group?

Youth Group is time spent with your peers and Youth Group leaders to enjoy meaningful fellowship, while also expanding on the knowledge of our Catholic faith and how to live it practically.

In High School Youth Group there will be opportunities for discussions that allow for the exploration of our faith, retreats to deepen your relationship with God, no matter where you are at in your walk of faith. There will also be opportunities to put our faith into action. We will also engage in service to our community through various forms of outreach: organizing donation drives, volunteering at local shelters, serving in ministry at Mass, and more!

I am already Confirmed. I grew up going to Catholic school. Why should I attend Youth Group?

If this is you, the real question should be “um, why not?!” Your education is important in laying the foundation for who you are and earning the knowledge that will help you be successful in life. Receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation is an incredible milestone in the Catholic faith, but it is important to remember that Confirmation is not a graduation, it is initiation. In other words, Confirmation is not the end of something, but rather it’s the beginning of something.

Youth Group is a place where you, as high school teens, get to gather and accompany one another in your continued walk of faith. It’s a place to ask the tough questions and offer input to your leaders on the kinds of things YOU want to learn about and advocate for experiences that YOU want to have.

You are never done growing in your faith.

When and where is Youth Group?

Youth Group will meet every Sunday evening, 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Holy Rosary campus. We will begin with prayer and dinner each week, followed by various Youth Group games, activities, and small group discussions. This group will serve teens from both St. Thomas More and Holy Rosary. Click here to register for Youth Group!

Looking to try it out for the first time? Bring a friend! You don’t have to be Catholic to enjoy Youth Group!

See you there! We can’t wait to welcome you!

In Christ,
St. Thomas More and Holy Rosary Parish High School Youth Group Team
