In navigation, True North is that point of reference that never changes, regardless of shifting magnetic fields or constellations. It’s the reliable, unfailing marker by which all other directions can be found.
As the years go by, we can get so busy making a living, raising a family and keeping up with the world that we may lose our way. We lose our sense of purpose and direction; we lose touch with what gives us life and brings true joy. We need to find our soul’s True North.
Join Ron Ryan to learn from your own experience—and from others—how to faithfully navigate the best years of your life.
Ron Ryan, D. Min. served in full-time Catholic church ministry in various parish and catechetical roles for 44 years. Now retired, he continues to offer seminars, Bible studies and retreats.

Join with others from St. Thomas More and Holy Rosary parishes, for a journey to discover deeper purpose in your second half of life. This unique opportunity, facilitated by Dr. Ron Ryan, is sure to be a fruitful experience for each person and for the group as a whole to build relationships based in faith and discovery.
Participation in all sessions is encouraged, but participants may attend single sessions.
No payment is required for registration but a suggested contribution for each session is $50 or $300 for the entire series. All contributions help cover the cost of materials, lunch and the speaker’s fee.

Join other True North alumni as we revisit familiar themes and explore new topics to help us live with greater purpose and direction. Ron Ryan will offer four sessions focusing on topics with unique meaning for the later years: loss, suffering, gratitude and hope.

Sessions will be held on Saturdays, 9:00am-12:00pm (noon).
Light refreshments will be provided.
The series is designed for those who have completed the Finding Our Soul’s True North series. However, everyone is welcome.
Recommended donation is $25 per session (or $100 for series) to help cover costs.
